For Nannies

Need money to pay for college? Do you love children? Do you want a rewarding job that pays well, provides for all or most of your living expenses, and that may allow you to live in a different part of the United States? If your answer is yes, and you can make at least a 1-year commitment to the job, then Choose The Right Nanny wants to talk to you! If you meet the guidelines that we have outlined on our home page, please download and submit the Nanny Application and Agreement. Once your application is thoroughly reviewed, a placement counselor will call to answer all your questions.

Referrals
We want other quality nannies just like you! Once you are a C.T.R. Nanny, you can enjoy the benefit of referring other nanny candidates. If one of your referrals is placed from our agency you will receive a check for $100.00 after she has been on her job for 60 days. Now that’s a great deal!

Frequently Asked Questions

Will there be any direct contact between my potential employers and me?
Yes, after your application has been forwarded to them for their review, they will want to speak to you on the telephone and perhaps meet with you in person.

How much money will I make?
That answer varies based upon location, what your duties will be, and how many children will be in your care. The salary range can be anywhere from $300-$700 per week for live-in care. Plus, don’t forget you get free room and board as well! That is like an additional paycheck in your pocket!

Will I be able to attend school or take online classes?
In some cases the answer will be yes. It is important to talk to your employers about your desire to do this and they will be able to tell you if it is possible or not.

What if I can’t commit to an entire year?
CTR Nanny only places nannies that are willing to make that kind of commitment.

My parent’s are concerned about me taking this job. Can you reassure them?
Yes, one of our placement counselors will speak to your parents or anyone else who has concerns regarding your placement. We will assure them that we are very careful with each placement to make sure the environment is wholesome where she/he will be placed.

If my placement isn’t working out, what can I do about it?
Most of our placements are very successful. You should first remember to keep the lines of communication open with your employers. If something is wrong, speak to them about it. If that isn’t possible, call your placement counselor and they will try to mediate the problem.

How do I get home once my contract is over?
Your employers are required to send you back to your original location, if that is your desire, at the end of your contract. If you are unable to fulfill your obligation you will be required to secure your own means home.
