Nanny Background Checks

Thorough background checks of each nanny candidate are conducted by a private and independent organization after a potential candidate is matched to your family. The information contained in the report will be shared with you for your final review before an offer of employment is made. This information is private and may only be used in conjunction with your employment decision and not for any other purpose.

Family Background Checks

We value both our family and our nanny clients; therefore, in order to ensure the successful and safe placement of our nannies, we require some of your personal information. Please know that we respect your privacy and the information you share with C.T.R. Nanny will remain confidential. It will not be shared with your nanny candidate or any other organization.

When the application is submitted and thoroughly reviewed, you will receive a telephone call from one of our placement counselors during which time we will discuss your specific family needs and desires, your expectations, and answer any questions that you may have. Once a candidate has been selected for your review, you will be sent her information. At that time you may decide to personally interview the candidate. This can be accomplished via the telephone, or in some cases, by direct video feed. A final interview may include bringing the candidate to your home. This is usually done at your expense.

 

 

  • Fees / Placement Agreement

There is no charge for a client application to be submitted; however CTR Nanny requires a signed Client Service Agreement and non-refundable referral fee of $125.00 prior to an applicant search.The agency placement fee is 12% of the annual gross nanny compensation ($2475 minimum). The agency placement fee is due and payable once an offer of employment has been extended and accepted, and no later than 48 hours after the candidate accepts the offer. If no payment has been received prior to the applicant's start date, the credit card on file will be charged the full amount. Payments may be accepted online, in the office, or over the phone. We gladly accept all major credit cards, cash, check, or PayPal.

  • Replacements

We practice due diligence in finding the ideal candidate for each unique family; however, despite our best efforts it may be possible some situations can arise when the nanny you have selected doesn’t meet your expectations. In the unlikely event that this occurs, C.T.R. Nanny will initiate a new search for a candidate who meets your expectations. This will be done for only one replacment unless there are extenuating circumstances to be determined on a case-by-case basis. More information can be found in the Client Services Agreement.

  • Referrals

We appreciate our client referrals because there is no better endorsement than your personal experience and recommendation. To show our appreciation, we will send you a credit for $100.00 toward the placement fee for a new nanny for each family that you refer to Choose The Right Nanny, LLC who selects one of our candidates for employment in their home. This will occur 60 days after placement. Be sure to have them write your name on the “Whom may we thank for your interest in our agency?” or the "Referred By" section of the application.

 

  • Transportation

It is the responsibility of the family to provide transportation for the nanny to and from her origination point. It is best to provide a dedicated vehicle for the nanny when possible.
